The bass drum and guitars being brought forward in the mix just a tiny bit makes this one of my favorite Revenge records. More or less abandoning the mid paced sections of their last 2 projects means this is ~40 minutes of unrelenting, uncaring war metal.
Favorite track: Hate Nomad.
This has become my favourite album by Revenge. It's probably the most violent and unrelenting which is exactly what I want from the band. The production possibly helps to amplify the aggression. Big improvement on the bass drum sound compared to previous albums. Unquenchable genocide command cult.
Favorite track: Mobilization Rites.

I love the subterranean sound Impetuous Ritual creates. I love the little moments where bells and other effects are added. This band is the sound of Weird Tales if you could turn literary works into music. Every time I listen to these guys I feel like reading the works of Lovecraft, August Derelith, Clark Ashton Smith, Robert W. Chambers, or Brian Lumley. Nothing has really changed between this album and past albums. You still get the same claustrophobic low tuned guitars and bass. themetatronicconspirator
